Melissa Eldridge, Founder & CEO

Melissa served in the U.S. Air Force and has more than 20 years

experience in the health care field as a Physical Therapist Assistant. 

She has experience in multiple areas of care, and realizes that some

individuals may need help to maintain a modified level of

independent living in the comfort of their home. Studies have shown

that individuals who receive assistance at home increase their quality of life and thrive at a

greater rate, than those who do not receive 1-On-1 Care.

Not long ago, assisted living facilities and nursing homes were the only choices for seniors

who needed help.  Melissa started 1-On-1 Care Matters in January 2017 because she wanted

to provide a higher level of in-home care and companionship.  At that time, there were only a

handful of non-medical home care companies in Montgomery County, Tennessee.  Today,

many seniors and their families find in-home caregivers to be an affordable alternative.
