Melissa served in the U.S. Air Force and has more than 20 years of experience in the health care field as a physical therapist assistant. Â She has experience across multiple areas of care and recognizes that some individuals may need assistance to maintain a modified level of independent living in the comfort of their home. Studies have shown that individuals who receive 1-on-1 care at home improve their quality of life and thrive at a higher rate than those who do not.
Why 1-On-1 Care Matters, LLC Was Created
Not long ago, assisted living facilities and nursing homes were the only choices for seniors who needed help. Melissa started 1-On-1 Care Matters, LLC, in January 2016 because she wanted to provide a higher level of in-home care and companionship. At that time, there were only a handful of non-medical home care companies in Montgomery County, Tennessee. Today, many seniors and their families find in-home caregivers to be an affordable alternative. People will notice the difference immediately!
